Think on Your Feet® Management Workshop (1½ to 2 days)
Aims and content
|
By the end of the workshop, participants understand the concepts underpinning Think on Your Feet® techniques and have practised applying these techniques in a number of formal and impromptu settings.
The management workshop differs from the shorter Executive Seminar in two main respects:
- a much greater amount of practice is involved - becoming familiar with which techniques work better in which situations and understanding how to apply the techniques to work situations
- additional concepts are introduced
|
|
 |
Participants will know how to:
- Use a "Brain-Scan Grid" to better understand any audience
- Help any audience better receive key messages, through placing ideas into simple, cohesive frameworks
- Structure thoughts to explain and inform - organising by time, place or perspective
- Appear objective and knowledgeable
- Handle difficult and aggressive questions - and buy time to construct your response
- Change another person's viewpoint, handle sensitive questions and counter sweeping statements
- Construct longer responses and formal presentations while maintaining clarity, brevity and impact
- Move from disagreement to win-win outcomes
